As Water Flows

Oceans, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and streams are all part of "As Water Flows". Water has the ability to invoke many different emotions. A small trickling stream, a calm lake or pond may instill tranquility while raging rapids, a large waterfall or perhaps crashing waves will create a sense of vigor. The unique thing about photography is that water, especially moving water can be portrayed in many different ways through choice of shutter speed. A fast shutter speed will capture all of the movement within a scene while a slow shutter speed will change the scene dramatically to one with a smooth almost silky, tranquil flow to the water.
