The Alpine Environment

I love the mountains. The alpine environment is the place where I feel most at home. For me spending time in the hills, hiking, climbing and exploring is like spending time at a deluxe spa. I love the feeling of wondering what is over the next ridge and pushing myself to find out what lays beyond. The mountain landscape is a wild place that offers moments of silence and tranquility but also harsh unrelenting brutality. The alpine is a place not to be taken for granted nor treated without  respect, in return the mountains offer some of the most breathtaking moments found in nature.
