A reprieve from the rain    Golden Ears Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada

October 2016 will go down in the history books as one of the wettest ever. This one day was an exception and my friend Gary Thompson and I set out for Golden Ears Provincial Park. I have been photographing in Golden Ears for many years now and it is always one of my go to places that is close to home. The late start didn't look terribly promising as it was dull and grey, but as the morning progressed the light improved and I got a couple of images that turned out not bad. This image being one of them. I love it when moss covered trees are backlit like this. A bit of a challenge photographically but really satisfying when you can pull a decent composition out of the chaos.
