Ray of Light Golden Ears Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada
Beams of light penetrate second growth forest shrouded in morning fog. Fellow photographer Rob Paulley and I had driven to this patch of trees two days in a row. On the first visit the mist wasn't quite thick enough to get the beams that we had hoped for. On the second day the fog was much denser and perfect for the rays of light we were after. I set up my 4x5, exposed two sheets of film and the light show was over.
