Reverence    Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada

Sometimes it's nice to switch things up and go from vibrant colour to monochromatic tonal values. Occasionally I have an idea in my mind of what I want to do with an image before I have even taken it. Doesn't happen that often but is personally gratifying to finally get around to work on an image into something that I had in my mind. This mountain scene was far from brooding and ominous at the time but the swirling clouds and peaks revealing themselves once in a while does at times give me an uneasy feeling, especially if I am on top of one of those peaks.
