Waiting for the weather can often be a test in patience. It had been raining for several days in the Olympics and I was starting to get cabin fever. I went for a short walk up to Marymere Falls to stretch my legs and while looking for shelter from a sudden downpour came across this wonderful little scene. I loved the feeling of being enveloped by the green foliage and moss. The hardest part about taking this image was keeping the rain drops out of my lens.
